Policy lapsed due to agent’s fault only

I, Madhulika Anand having one of your Mediclaim policy no “52077416” dated 27/03/2008. Initially I have paid a sum of Rs 2,656/- as first premium. The next premium was due on 26/03/2009. I have already issued a chq dated 25/03/2009 (chq amt: Rs 2800/-, Bank name: Union Bank of India). Your agent had also accepted this chq from me on the same date. After 1 month of due date i.e. on 26th April, 2009 I have received this chq back to me with a letter ( sub was: “Renewal of Policy no 52077416 dated 23rd March, 2009) from your Agent Mr Ajit Singh Monga. When I asked your Agent (Mr. Ajit Singh Monga),that why this chq is handed over to me after a period of 30 days, he said yes there is a new clause which is added to this policy just in the month of April, 2009, so your premium is increased to Rs. 4563/- instead of Rs. 2656/-. When I asked why are you informing me abt this after so many days he said i was not aware of this clause, I also got to know abt this clause just 2 days before, and he said, ok no problem give me some time to check out why this premium is increased.

I was still want to pay the money but no body had helped me to find out the reason that why this premius is increased. After this I had tried to contact your helpline nos, But nobody had helped me in this matter. Every body gave me a new no to contact.

After so many calls to diff nos I have got one Mobile no: 9810810258, but the concerned person was on leave for 1 month. Finally I have discuss this matter with Mr Aditya (Assistant Manager – Naraina Branch). He said we will discuss this matter with your Agent. Next day Mr Aditya, Mr Ajit Singh Monga and myself all were on a conference call. I was discussing this matter, initially Mr. Monga said I have already told you to increase the amt but when i replied if you were aware for the amt then why you have

accepted this chq and where were u and where was my letter from 30 days. Then he starts talking very rudely, i think he doesn’t know that how to deal with a customer. He said “REHNE DO REHNE DO YE TO AB AISE HI KAREGI, MANEGI THODE NA, YE AISE HI KAREGI”. If this is the language which your agent is using with a cm then M SORRY TO SAY BUT I HAVE TO SAY THAT I have mistaken that I have taken a policy from that company whose agents doesn’t know how to deal with a customer or specially with afemale person.

Everything was stopped no body has cld me after this rude behaviour of your agent.

I just want to know that why company has not informed me to increase the premium before due date, and

if company has issued a letter to me on 23rd March, 2009 to me, then why i have received this

letter on 26th April instead of 23rd March from your agent.

WHERE WAS THE LETTER AND MY CHQ WAS LYING FOR A PERIOD OF MORE THAN ONE MONTH ??????

Who is responsible for the failure of this policy ?????????????

Pls help me to sort out this matter asap.

This was the matter which i have already mail to the diff diff mail id’s but till today I have not recd any revert for that.
