Subject- Harassment made by The Post Master, Taj Ganj Post Office, Agra Sir, With due respect it is stated that I am a Central govt. pensioner ( Holder of PPO No.- TC/AG-TD/PEN/423 retired from Deptt Of Telecom) receiving pension through Taj Ganj P.O.,Agra -282001(Head post office Pratap pura Agra) I am enjoying pension against the above said PPO NO. Since January 1997 till date I have never faced any problem in receiving my pension from the above said Post Office. On 31/12/12 when I visited the concerned Post Office to receive the pension for the month of NovDec 2012 , I was informed that my pension from Nov 2012 onwards cannot be released for the want of Life Certificate. I have asked for the prescribed format to do the needful but the concerned post master behaved very rudely by stating that it is not his part of official duty to provide me the same format and directed me along with other pensioners who were also facing the same problem to visit dispensary to obtain the certificate. On being asked about the address of the dispensary, he replied that to which Dispensary I should go, is only my lookout and not his job. I showed my passbook with photo and proved my identity that I am the pension holder. But he insisted upon me to furnish a certificate from the dispensary that I am alive. Because of non payment of pension since Nov 2012, I am facing financial hardships because of non- cooperation behaviuor by the concerned post master. In view of the forgoing Paras it is prayed that the concerned Post Master/Authority may kindly be directed to provide the prescribed format for life certificate and also to provide the address of dispensary from where I should get the requisite to enable myself to receive pension in time. An early action in this matter is expected.
