Sir, I am working as a Special Sub-Inspector of Police, in Greater Chennai Police, at S-12 Chitlapakkam Police Station . I 58 years above to leave on superannuation on 31.05.2016. I had commenced of risk a Postal Life Insurance on 06.10.2003 vide Policy No. TN-224104-CS for Rs. 1,00,000/- EA/58. It was matured on 06.10.2015. Details of amount sent to the PLI was obtained from my department on 07.10.2015 and submitted before General Post Officer, Beach on 23.10.2015 and it was acknowledged by the office vide No. AG/PLI/Ack. Digs/2015-16 dated at Chennai – 600 001, the 23.10.2015. I have approached the office for several times. Despite repeated visits, I have not been settled the amount. My bearer one Mr. Sathyanarayanan of same Post department, agent is my witness who had visited the same office to know the status. I have been very much suffered due to non settlement of the amount due to non responsibility of the G PO beach. I had planned to use this amount for daughters fees and I am very much ashamed due to delay in paying the fees to my daughter who studies BDS.
