Premium receipt not received

Respected Sir,
I have paid my premium amount thro’ online facility provided by LIC of India.
As per LIC, I suppose to receive the receipt with in 3 days of period, but I didn’t receive the receipt either in my mail or in website. I have intimated LIC about this as they mentioned in their webportal but I didnt receive any single mail or response from LIC.
The amount was debited from account on 4th march 2009 itself.

I would have submitted my receipt to get the tax Exemption under 80C before 7th march 2009 to my employer. Because of delay in response from LIC, I couldn’t submit the same. Now they will deduct the tax and have to claim the same amount from Income Tax Dept.
Hope you know the pain in that process and the time duration.
