I went to the beauty parlour after my friend whose engagement I was attending fixed the rate for hair, make up and sari draping for 3000 rupees. After I reached there, they took more than 2 hours to get me ready along with another friend and finally gave me a bill of 7500 rupees! This is just hair, make up and sari draping for me and hair and make up for my friend. When I asked her for a price list for the services, the manager there said they didn’t have one and I should pay up right now or she wouldn’t let me leave.

I was already late and carried only 5000 rupees because as per her agreement, that would have been the maximum it would have cost. She behaved rudely and if it was any other day and there wasn’t an engagement I had to rush to, I would have called the police. This place has questionable hygiene standards and does not comply with regulations that demand that there be a price list so that customers are aware and there wasn’t a proper bill (she gave me a scribbled paper with 7500 rupees written on it. I hope that you hold the owner of this place accountable for her ludicrous)
