Primarc Builder – delay in possession claiming interest of late payment

We had purchased a flat from Primarc in Parvati Garden, Birati, Kolkata, as per the agreement it was supposed to be handed over in December 2010 with added grace period of 6 months, but they have started giving possession in November 2013 which is almost 2.5 years later the commitment date. As per the agreement they supposed to give compensation Rs 3000/per month for this delay, instead they are giving only 9 months of compensation, additionally they are claiming interest of late payment of the demand raised to us. For our case there is only 2 instances where we paid late others are either due to the bank or due to the developer sent the demand late or haven’t sent at all for which we are no way responsible, in this circumstances we are not liable to pay them any such charges. Moreover the property registration costs are almost doubled compared to the time they supposed to hand it over and in the current time. We have requested them to waive off the interest charges those are claimed wrongly and settle this issue but they are not willing to do that instead they are harassing us by delaying it further.

We want the full compensation to be given as per the agreement and the loss in property registration. We have done our property registration, now they have to handover the possession letter and the key which they are delaying by charging interest which are incorrect, we need to settle that as well.
