I have bought a Samsung galaxy grand duos i9082(IMEI No. 356631053878775) on 10th June 2013 from Reliance Digital Retail Limited,229 NSC Bose Road,Kolkata .Within the period of 5 months i had to visit the service center 5 times for various problem.The various problems that i have faced with this set during the period are as follows: 1.Phone was restarting automatically inspite of being fully charged. 2.There was an issue with the sensor because of which i was not able to disconnect my call after finishing my call. 3.I was not able to make calls. 4.System was hanging frequently and there was screen blackout/freezing of screen.After sometime when the screen starts responding the system becomes extremely slow. The last of the above problem was set to be resolved and the set was returned back to me on 9th Nov 13 but after getting the set back and loading my regular apps etc the same problem of hanging continued.During the last visit to the service center at metro station esplanade kolkata i was told to do factory reset and load only facebook and watsapp application and check if the hanging problem shows up.I did exactly as they told but inspite of this the screen froze which i have recorded on video and i showed the service center people this video during my visit today but they are insisting that i should stay in the service center for 5-6 hours and show them this problem when it occurs.They are even claiming that the earlier problems for which i have gone to the service center and submitted the phone thrice were non existing.Though they they had seen the problems for themselves and returned the phone to me after rectifying those problems .They are simply trying to brushing aside the problems and putting the blame on the sim,net pack and apps.
It is evident from their approach that they simply want to harass and mislead the consumer till the warranty period is over after which they will charge for every service they provide.Under the above circumstances i strongly feel the set that has been sold to me is defective and not worth using because it has become more of an inconvenience to me commuting to the service center frequently and it is practically of no use to me.I would like to get the money refunded immediately so that i can buy a set which can be of use to me.Alternatively i should be provided with a set which gives problem free performance and the warranty period of the set should be counted from the day the new set is handed over to me.
