I have purchased one Flat from a Promoters as per registered sale deed/documents. In addition to the document value, they have collected Rs.2,20,000/- from me as direct payment and issued a letter reading as, “We hereby confirm that we received the sum of Rs.2,20,000/- towards the following charges: For EB deposit & EB connection charges Rs.65,000/-, For LPG Gas connection charges Rs.35,000/-, For Water Deposit & Water connection charges Rs.70,000/-, For Corpus Fund Rs.50,000/-, TOTAL: Rs.2,20,000/-” I asked the promoters to provide me details with relevant documents/receipts with full details for the above payments. But he denied/declined to provide me the details. I am unable to understand the behavior of the promoters and what basis and why he has recovered this huge amount from me. Pl advise me what I have to do in this regard. Thank you,
