Rediff Shopping – Faulty Product Sold – Review

I have placed an order for a table cost rs. 1078/- on 3rd April order no. 9445663. Coz table received in a broken condition, I have informed rediff and asked them to refund the amount and arrange a pick up. But they said, that will arrange a pick up in next 30 days and then they will ship the item to vendor after getting the confirmation from their vendor they will process the refund in next 20 days..overall , it will take around 2 months , so it would be good if I ship the item on my own and claim the amount and I did that, then they said they will courier the cheque in 20 days. However , I received the courier , but they have mentioned incomplete name on the cheque and so I asked them to resend the correct cheque, however , they have confirmed me to do RTGS , also I received the call from them that they are processing the RTGS and they will refund on 28th may 2014. Now they are saying , that , first i dispatch the cheque , then only they will refund the amount .I mean this cheque is with bank , they have not returned to me yet, also , it is of no use to me as incomplete name mentioned on the cheque , I was asking them to do the RTGS and once I receive the cheque I will courier it to mumbai. But they are saying they will not do so. I mean first they supplied broken item , then they provide wrong cheque and now bcoz of their procedure they will not refund the amount till they receive the cheque. Also they cannot arrange the pick up. I have to dispatch the cheque on my own and then claim that amount as well. Which will take next 2 months to refund.. Overall , for a single broken supplied material , they will take 5 months to refund the amount.
