1: ( 4346-XXXX-XXXX-5978) THIS CARD I AM HOLDING SINCE JUNE 2002 WITH CREDIT LIMIT OF 46,000/- GOLD CARD.
2: ( 4346-XXXX-XXXX-6073) THIS CARD I AM HOLDING SINCE JULY 2006 WITH CREDIT LIMIT 0F 30,000/- GOLD CARD.
FEW DAYS BACK I GOT MY CREDIT CARDS STATEMENT AND TO MY SURPRISE, YOUR CREDIT CARD DIVISION HAS REDUCED MY BOTH THE CREDIT CARDS LIMITS BY 50% THAT IS ( 23000/- AND 15000/- ) WITHOUT INTIMATING ME OR WITHOUT ANY WRITTEN DOCUMENT FROM MY SIDE. INFACT YOUR DEPARTMENT SHOULD HAVE INCREASED THE LIMITS OF SUCH A LOYAL OR GOOD CUSTOMER. I AM ALSO HAVING SAVINGS AND CURRENT ACCOUNT IN YOUR BANK. IF THIS IS THE KIND OF TREATMENT OR BEHAVIOR YOUR BANK PEOPLE ARE GOING TO GIVE, I AM AFRAID YOU ARE LOOSING A POTENTIAL CUSTOMER. KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AS URGENT NEED OF HOUR AND TAKE THE APPROPRIATE ACTION.

Dear Kulbir,
It is always best to deal with such issues in person. This sounds like a plain mistake on the billing departments part and should be fixed quickly if you go to a branch and talk to the manager. In this time of slump, every provider wants to hold their clients.
Disclaimer: I do not work for HDFC or any bank for that matter. But I had similar problem with my bank and it was resolved without any fuss.
