I, Kalyan Chakraburtty and my wife Kakali Chakraburtty deposited 8000/-(Rupees eight thousand only) under three different certificates in cumulative fixed deposit scheme of IFB Finance Ltd, which had its office At 8/1 Middleton Row, Kolkata- 700 071, West Bengal. After the stipulated period of five years we were supposed to get 16000/- from the company. We had deposited 3 fixed deposit certificates on maturity having FDR Nos.: LC/C/95/18521[1000/-], LC/C/95/28773[5000/-] AND LC/C/95/19109[2000/-] respectively on 21.12.2000 and received the receipt of the same. But till date we have not got the money from the IFB Finance Ltd. Recently I visited their office and found that they have winded up the same and left no trace or alternate address for the customers,

This was my very first earning and this cheating made me feel helpless as a citizen of India, I still cannot believe that we can be deceived in open daylight living in the biggest democracy.
