I had purchased TVS Apache RTR160 from LOYAL TVS @ bandra (which has closed its service as of now) which was delivered to me on 4th jan 2008 which had a warranty period of 2 years, I had never got the bike serviced or repaired anywhere except the authorised service centres. on 26th dec’09 when I had given the bike for servicing at excellent TVS @ bhandup I had complained regarding the problem with the starter of the bike which is not working, for which they verified the book of the bike and were supposed to get back to me through the TVS engineer which has never happened so far. The booklet clearly showed that the bike was still in warranty, I contacted the TVS company through their website several times but nothing has materialised. the cost of the starter motor is Rs4000 which the company should have replaced free of cost which has not been done so far. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.
