Reliance BigTV – Bad Service and Refund Denied

My worst ever experience with Reliance BigTV. I have a normal (SD) setup box (Reliance BigTV Smart Card Number 200532841132) with almost 1 year subscription (Gold Pack) and I am using this DTH service from 2008. I wanted to upgrade to HD setup box and called bigtv customer care to enquire about it. They said HD setup boxes are out of stock and after that I asked them if I can use an used HD setup box thinking that I don’t have to pay for HD setup box only pairing I need to pay. I went ahead and bought a used HD setup box and inserted my smart card in this HD box. Error 102 was displayed on TV. I called up customer care to ask about this. The problem started from here. It seems Bigtv customer care executives are not well trained they gave me irrelevant and wrong information about pairing everytime I called. At first they said me to recharge my DTH account with Rs. 400 for pairing. This didn’t worked out, they said again I need to recharge with Rs. 2000 for HD setup box pairing. I did it. They said it will take 4 days to pair. At the end of 3rd day they closed my request stating insufficient balance. This did it this thrice. I called them again and they told me to recharge Rs. 2600 for HD setup box pairing. By this time I was frustrated and wanted to use my old SD setup box which I had recharged for 1 year. Then I called customer care and asked them to refund my money which I recharged for this purpose. They simply denied and said its not possible to refund and refunding is not there in their policy. Again I called them they said, check with the third party payment through which I paid the amount. I called third party payment apps (PAYTM and Freecharge.in). They also denied saying they cannot refund because recharge trasaction was successful and money is with BigTV and told me thaa I need to get refund from BigTV directly. its a true harassment, BigTV account accepts only money they don’t refund in case of denial of service. Customer has to wait for years to re-use that money. Now the big question is how do I get money back?. Even if I go ahead with BigTV for HD recharging the expenses will be huge compared to other DTH operators. Below is details of the expenses occur for 1 year with BigTV HD service 1. Rs. 3, 330 – Gold Pack 2. Rs. 1000 – Used HD setup box (because Reliance do not have HD setup box) 3. Rs. 2600 – charges for HD pairing 4. Rs. 84/month for HD 10 channels that comes up to 84X12=10083330+1000+2600+1008= Rs.7938 Or with Max Pack 3330+1000+2600+1662=Rs. 8592 Its seriously not worth to pay this much amount of money for just 10 HD channels. THEY ARE MAKING FOOL OF CUSTOMER. I never expected I get harassed by BigTV even though I am a loyal customer of this brand and using this DTH service from 2008. Please help me to get back my money Rs. 2100
