I filled online form on RCOM website to contact me for getting a broadband and landline combo plan. I was approached by RCOM agent on 11-Apr-13 who took my documents and cheque for initial month charges and connection charges. I, however, told him not to file it until I confirm. Next morning, I called him and told not to file the application since feedback of services was poor. I was told it won’t be filed. But in the evening, I received an email from RCOM saying my installation has been scheduled. I sent email to them and also called their helpline telling this is fraud application and I did not file it. I also warned against clearing the cheque. I was told it will not be cashed. The installation was canceled. After some days on 17-Apr-13, my cheque was cashed. I sent email to RCOM customer care again asking for credit towards my cheque, but got only automated reply. I have since sent multiple emails trying to get my money credited back, but they have not replied back or taken any action. It has been more than 1 month since then. They are not even responding to my emails.
