Hi, I have requested for a new broadband internet connection from Reliance Broadnet internet to which I was approached by Reliance Sales representative on 15-Oct-2014 on which date I made a payment of Rs 1400. After which date, the sales rep whose contact number is 9028391589 kept his phone off and was out of my reach. I kept calling Reliance customer care for 7 times repeatedly and pleaded them to respond and have someone setup my internet connection to no avail. I wasn’t even getting any complaint number from the relaince guys when I ask for one. They only say I can contact them by quoting my mobile number 9168848259 for details on complaint and there is no number generated at reliance end for complaints. Later when I asked for escalation contact, I was given contact number of their appellate authority. I kept contacting them as well for over 5 times so far each time they ask for 48 hours of time which has no meaning to me now because they never get back. They just keep pushing me back and buy time so I get tired and leave hope of my money. Recently on on 22-Nov-2014 I again contacted them and asked atleast for refund of my money, but they said they will try one last time and for sure contact me in 48 hrs. Till now not a single time I got any callback from Reliance on my broadband connection. But I finally managed to get a complaint number from reliance which is – 216509690. Regards, Vamsi Krishna

If the agony and pain this incident caused me has to be converted into monetary compensation, first of all I paid Rs 1400 and never got a connection. I have had to go through a mental agony every day since 10-Oct-2014 until this day. I’d say they should pay 1400 per day for all these days they didn’t respond to me which would be equivalent to Rs 67200(48 days so far). Plus, I think they should be heavily panelized for breach of trust and cheating the consumer.
