I have been trying to close my Religare Securities Dmat/Trading account from 2013 as I got loss of Rs 50000. The application was also submitted to their office and all dues are cleared .I have hard copy of received application as well. They are keeping my account in Active state and asking maintenance charges as my application was rejected stating signature mismatch .

I was considering the account would have been closed / Suspended as information was not shared . I received information that I have to now submit maintenance charges for the account for which there is no trading and no balance exists . I have been asked to refill a new form and submit to there office with 449 rupees as maintenance charges.

Its expected that account should not be active when they received closure form there after in case the application gets rejected the account should be suspended as no activity. I am trying to submit a new form now for closure but they would not process until the maintenance charges of 449 is payee. in case my form again gets rejected I would be continuing to pay the maintenance charges year after year.
