Repair Issues of Xolo Mobile – Customer Service

I would just like to give you the jist of the entire problems i faced, I bought Xolo Q1000s Plus on 31st August 2014 for 13000 INR plus an 10% amount for the insurance provider, just in case as an added benefit. However during the course of time there were incidents of phone getting heated up and lagging in speed and eventually on 5th Feb the display went black, although except the black screen everything was working perfectly fine. So on 7th i called up the insurance provider S G Solutions based out in Rohini Sector 2, New Delhi, they mentioned the fact that the phone can be handed over to them instead of giving it to the service centre. I handed over the phone to their representative on 11th Feb 2015, wherein the representative mentioned that the phone would be dully returned in 15 days, which was fine by me.

Now i would like to mention my experience with the S G Solutions and indirectly with XOLO Customer Care and Support and how many rides I took to the Service Center. 1: 31 -August – 2014: I bought the Xolo Q1000s Plus for Rs. 13,000. 2: 05 – February – 2015: Though the phone had several incidents of heating up and lagging in touch, it never bothered me. But on 5th while on the charging mode the screen went black. Decided to report about the problems with the phone (Overheating) to the person from whom I bought the phone. He recommended me to get to S G Solutions first 3. 11 – February – 2015: The phone was physically handed over to the representative of S G Solutions, wherein he assured me that the phone would be delivered back to me within 15 working days, completely fine. On asking he also mentioned that they have an authorized service center of both LAVA & XOLO together in their office, which would expedite the process. 4. 22 – February – 2015: Called up the S G Solutions just to cross check the current status of the handset whrein they mentioned that it would still take a week, and then disconnected, called again to confirm the reason, they kept me on hold for 20 minutes after which they mentioned that the part is not available for the same. It was taken and they said it can take up to one more week to which I agreed.

Note: Attitude of people at S G Solution was very cheap. They were ignoring my questions and were very loud and abusing specially a personnel named Lucky. 5. 25 – February – 2015: I received a call from the XOLO service center Noida, they informed me that the phone has been dispatched from their end and would be delivered to me within 4 days. 6. 28 – February – 2015: Called S G Solutions and learned that the phone has been dispatched and is still with the service Centre for the repair work, and would be returned to me in a weeks’ time, which now started to become more annoying. 7. 3 – March – 2015: Called S G Solutions and learned that the phone has still not been dispatched and is still with the service Centre for the repair work, and would call for 10 days more of time. 8. 7 – March – 2015: Called S G Solutions, wherein a female associate assured that I could collect my phone on Monday 9th, {Yukti or Jyoti}, bit of a joy to learn that. 9. 9 – March – 2015: Before leaving from my office, again called up the S G Solutions to verify my arrival for the collection, which they agreed. When I went to the counter with the slip issued to me Sorry Sir, we don’t have any information about your phone. Please inquire again after 7 days.” Came to know that some parts which are required to fix the phone are not available so the phone cannot be repaired and it can take some time. I was shocked. The issue is even after calling a customer to the place, they act negligent to the same and behave in a very rude and offensive manner Now I am unsure whether these people really have my handset or have they misplaced as I have already received a confirmation call before form the service centre that the same has been dispatched, but the S G Solutions is unsure about the same. S G Solutions are adamant that the Xolo Service centre people are providing false information.
