I used the service of Kesari Tours Pvt. Ltd., 314, Lady Jamshedjee Road, VSNL Colony, Mahim, Mumbai 400016 for my tour along with wife to Europe ( London, Paris, Switzerland and Italy) from 9th to 16th Nov. 2014. I had paid the full cost of the tour for two persons in two instalments by cheque No. 206103 dated 30/09/2014 for Rs 70000 and cheque No. 206104 dated 01/11/2014 for Rs 253498. I also paid Rs 16250 for two premium seats in the coach for touring all the places from London to Italy. The payments covered the entire tour cost including airfare, visa charges, Eurostar Railway tickets, hotel accommodation etc for all the days. Mr Suhas Kharat, tour manager accompanied the travel group. After the London tour, we had to travel to Paris by Eurostar. The group however missed the Eurostar train as Mr Suhas was not aware that passengers should report to the St. Pancras Railway station one hour prior to the departure time. Mr Suhas then forced me to pay additional GBP 144 ( Rs 14650.87) for two fresh Eurostar train tickets.

After reaching back home, I had mailed an application for refund of Eurostar train tickets and part of visa charges as those were already included in the tour cost. I have been also making follow-up with Mr Amit Hadkar who initially promised me that the refund is being considered by Kesari and I would get my payment shortly. After two weeks when I did not get the refund cheque; I again spoke to Mr Amit who informed me that the company would not refund ticket charges . Kesari’s refusal to refund the additional ticket charges is nothing but cheating and breach of trust and also are against the terms and conditions in tour agreement. The total cost of ticket and visa charges amount to Rs 15700.87.The Company also refused to reply to my e-mails . I therefore request you to kindly take up the matter with Kesari Tours Pvt Ltd ( phone No. 02261744641/Prajakta : 9167774968/02261744038 ) and make them pay damages caused to me including ticket cost, extreme stress, missing scheduled sight seeing due to waste of time at St. Pancras Rly. Station, inconveniences, mental agony etc. amounting to Rs 31401.74 at the earliest . I am enclosing copy of letter mailed to Kesari and related papers for your kind perusal.
