I have an HP dv5-1221tx laptop whose motherboard needed to be replaced. I gave it to C-Tech IT Solutions at 46, M.D. Road, Uttarapan Market, 1st Floor, Kolkata – 700028 to do the job. They charged me Rs. 9000 telling me that I’ll be getting a brand new motherboard but in turn fitted a cheaper motherboard in my laptop which I could identify through certain software. On teling them the case they are saying that they have fitted exactly the same model motherboard which I initially had.

They aren’t listening to facts that would prove that I had a better motherboard (like checking the motherboard part no. specific to my laptop model on HP’s website) and instead are just making up their own stories.

They also won’t give my old motherboard back which I should be getting since I paid for a new one.

They are totally ripping me off. I have no idea about what to do.
