6th Oct’14 7:29PM – Booked OlaCabs with booking no. CRN-11644882 for travel from Bahadurgarh to New Delhi Domestic Airport on 7th Oct 2014 at 11:30 AM (Booking Confirmation Email snapshot attached). I called 011-3355xxx customer care to confirm the booking and they assured that the cab will be on time and we should not worry about making alternate travel arrangements. 7th Oct’14 10:37AM: Received SMS confirming the driver Gurmeet (999970xxxx) with Car No. DL-1-YD-4228 for pick up at 11:30 AM 7th Oct’14 11:04AM: Driver calls me and tells that he will not come for pick up, and will talk to Ola Cabs to arrange alternate car. 7 Oct’14 11:04 to 11:15 AM: Call connected with OlaCab helpline, after 10 attempts, customer care tells me to not worry and assures that alternate car will be arranged. 7 Oct’14 11:28 AM: Didn’t receive alternate car details, called OlaCabs and they said now they will not be able to arrange the cab. 7 Oct,14 12:29PM: Receive SMS from OlaCab saying my booking has been cancelled
I had made an advance payment of Rs.300 on 6th Oct at 8:11PM after confirming the booking. I had made that payment hoping that the amount will be charged from my OlaCabs user account after the successful journey on 7th Oct. I want following relief: 1. Reimburse INR300. 2. Compensate INR600 i.e. the total expenses incurred by my father for arranging a-hoc transport. 3. Publish an apology notice in a reputed National Daily Newspaper for the inconvenience caused.
