Samsung AC – Broke down No cooling effect delay service

I had purchased Samsung the Split Air conditioner mentioned above from the Canteen Stores Department (CSD), Pangode, Trivandrum, Kerala, India on 22nd October 2011 via Bill no: 34318. It broke down (No cooling effect) in August 2013 and I promptly reported the issue to Samsung Service. After a series of phone calls from me, a technician came after two weeks and after a very cursory inspection declared that the condenser needed replacement. However, I asked him to confirm that the problem was really with the condenser, as it was in use for hardly a couple of summer seasons (less than 2 years). The outdoor unit (with unit serial number B125PZABA00084V) was taken by M/s TopCoolers, the Samsung Service Centre in Trivandrum, Kerala State, India on 24th September, 2013. After that I made a number of followupcalls to the service centre on subsequent days. Then I personally visited the Service centre on 12th October, 2013, and the Service Centre Head confirmed that the problem was with the condenser.

M/s Samsung should stick to their refund promise (Rs. 18923/-) and also should give me compensation for the physical discomfort and mental agony caused by their inappropriate behavior and the unwarranted delay they introduce in bringing up my A/c into working condition.
