I had purchased a Samsung Laptop from Reliance Digital Store located in Shipra Mall, Noida. The purchase was on 9th April 2013, and it was having one year manufacturers warranty to be covered by Samsung. While making the purchase, I was allured by the reliance digital store to make a purchase of an extended warranty of two years from the Reliance Digital store under their ResQ plans. I had purchased the same. Now after an year of purchase i.e until 8th Apr 2014 it was to be covered by the Samsung, and post that i.e from 9th Apr 2014 till 8th Apr 2016 any problems occurring with the laptop has to be covered by the Reliance digital store. Finding loading problems and booting issues with system I had approached the nearby service centre which is located in tilak nagar. Initially they denied that it will not be covered by them, post that when I reached out the customer support executive by dialling the toll free number 18001031044. The lady named Preeti, the attended at the store finally agreed, they took my laptop for repair with a job sheet document in which it was clearly mentioned that they will give it back within 8 and at the maximum by ten days. It was 24th May when they took it. And since then they kept saying we will update you and they never get back. Every day I call and either they do not pick the call if somehow they pick there is lady who is the biggest culprit, named DEEPA, apparently running the whole store as if it belongs to her paternal property. Behaving as rude as possible she got on to my nerves by by responding rudely till no responses. Every day I call and ask on the status, ” Abhi time lag raha hai” she replies. On enquiring further she never had any idea on what is happening on that I was told that they keep the item in front of them and whenever customer calls they say, its been sent for repair. They do so until there passes days, and then weeks. Unaware of the status of the same and got irritated over the store people behaviour of disconnecting the call while I ask till shouting over me. I had to call the toll free number to customer care executive. The support executives over the toll free number were kind enough to here the problem and promising that they will get back and then they closed the tickets. Two of the ticket numbers are: 20002690 and 700006801. those tickets however were got closed without even providing any resolution to me. The only option left to me was to drop emails to them, which compelled me to write on my bad experiences with the store in frustrated emails. which somehow helped. There passed days, weeks and then finally month got over. I considered that they had sold my laptop off. But I was fortunate that it wasn’t somehow. I eventually got it back after more than 30 days. amidst, I was paying my internet bills also, although I hadn’t used a single byte of the net connection, all because of the irritating services of the centre. Now the great news was that, when I got it back
What I want are: 1.The officials should be taught on how to treat customers. 2. I want my laptop to be rectified within few hours, and it would be great if the official could keep it altogether or purchase it from me, as it seems they like it so much. 3.Justice is all what I want.
