This complain is with regards to the Samsung mobile phone that I have. It had some software issue due to which I had contacted the customer care dept and they filed a complained against the same. The next working day the service center person contacts me with regards to my issue on the same day there was a hardware issue and my phone went dead. The service center person arrives checks the handset and says he is not able to provide a standby handset as there is physical damage to the phone however there was nothing to it since he insisted that there is a damage and if I don’t agree he would leave and my handset wont be repaired. As I needed my phone to be in working condition I gave the handset to him and had to loan a handset from a friend for a day so I could get another one but fortunately the handset was repaired and sent across to me the next day upon examining the handset there was a charging point cover lock that was damaged and the same was bought towards the notice of the delivery person to which he said that he is not aware of the same. I had made a remark on the delivery challan about the same and he told me that he could contact the service center personally or raise a complaint to have the handset checked upon which would mean another day of no phone. ON the weekend I personally visited the service center and informed them about the same to which he person who handled my issue was on leave and the staff dint wish to attend to me as the issue is under one person. They asked me to come back on a monday, to which I replied that I am not able to come back as I am working and I only get time on a weekend to that the personal said they cant do anything. I then wrote a email to Samsung and the CEO’s office to which one person contacted me and said would get back to me on monday its been 3 days no one has contacted me. I also receive a SMS that thank you for contacting Samsung the query raised by me is closed and the issue has been resolved.
For all the trouble I have face I would like to have some compensatory from Samsung either in a form of replacement of the handset and provide another one as my original complaint has not been yet rectified or up gradation to another phone with same or upgraded features and proper warranty on the same.
