My name is Srilaxmi. I have taken education loan of Rs.80,000 for my b.tech course during 2007- 2009 period which includes EMIs of 1,739/- payable in 60 monthly installments with interest 10.50% p.a to clear the amount. I am unemployed but still I am managing to pay EMIs of 2,500/- every month starting from january, 2011 till now without fail. Few days back I was called to bank office to discuss about the debt clearance where they forcibly made me to sign a Revival letter. Within less than a month I got a legal notice stating that the necessary legal action will be compelled on me if I fail to pay the remaining amount which is 62,143/- with in 7 days (I dont know on what basis they calculated this much amount as I have been paying regular EMIs from 2011).
