I have been an avid user of state bank of india’s platinum credit card for a year and faced no issue in its services till date. i am a lieutenant under training at the prestigious INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY, dehradun and due to my hectic training schedule was not able to pay attention towards my bill payment of the card to which the bank was fully aware of and assured me no penalty as my case was special. My cumulative bill of three months amounting to 45,000 rs was to be paid which due to my training could not have been paid as i was away on a military exercise, as soon as i returned from the exercise i paid the whole amount lumpsum and have no dues left. after paying the whole amount i realized that the bank had blocked my credit card for non payment of the bill to which i was assured no penalty. it has been over a month since i have been asking the bank to issue me a new card or activate my existing card to which i have go no response. every time i call up the customer care or visit the bank branch, i am given the assurance of my case being handled at a priority basis. it has been a month since i have been running around the bank services as i am unable to carry out any financial transactions.

I request you to please look into my case and help me out as i am under great stress and financial trouble. in a months time i would be passing out on 14th june,2014 after which i will be posted on the border due to which i would be having no access to banks. i would request the panel to look into my case at a priority basis and help me.

I would like the bank to activate my card at the earliest or issue me a new card at the earliest to bail me out of the situation they have put me into.
