ShopClues.com – Damaged Product Delivered delaying the resolution

ShopClues.com : I had ordered a Micromax 50C1200FHD/50C5500FHD 124 cm (49 inch) LED TV [Order Number: 50733905, Return Number: 1402781]. Ordered on 11-May-2015 and delivered on 23-May-2015. A damaged product was delivered. The LED screen/panel was cracked badly. The complaint was raised immediately on the same day [23-May-2015] for a refund. It has been more than 2-weeks, and still the issue is dragging with inappropriate reasons such as “merchant unavailable”. The pictures had been uploaded by clearly highlighting the damaged product. A complete video of the opening of the package has been shot too, which I have in my disposal. Delay tactics are being used with silly reasons such as “merchant unavailable”, etc. The issue is still not resolved even after more than 2-weeks of receiving the product. I have also noticed in some forums that there is a defined or same set of responses from customer support for delaying the resolution.

The product was delivered in damaged condition. The LED screen was cracked. The refund request was initiated the same day with the pictures. A complete video was also shot of the unpacking of the product till the unveiling of the damaged product out of the packaging.
