Dear Sir/ Madam, I had purchased Micromax A111 mobile online from www.Shopclues.com on 12/08/2013. The details are as below: 1. IMEI: 911307200840566 2. Seller name: Maniac store, Gandhinagar 3. Invoice no. R153994. Invoice amount: rs. 9200 5. Battery no V003291305320001446 Suddenly on 21/01/2014 I observed a black spot appearing on the mobile screen and so I opened the back cover. To my surprise the battery was swollen which was creating pressure on the screen. So I removed the battery so that the screen is safe. In just 4 months the battery is swollen and that too when I am very particular with not overcharging the battery. I take special care of this. I took the battery to Micromax service centre in Ahmednagar. I told them that its just 4 months back that I bought this phone and battery warranty is 6 months. But they refused to replace the battery saying that there is no replacement for swollen battery and that I will have to pay Rs. 950 for the same. This is injustice to a customer like me that although the battery is in warranty period, I am not getting replacement. Then I called up the Micromax care no. 011 44770044. When I told them the above problem, they were rude enough to tell me that I will not get any replacement and I can complain wherever i like. When I asked them that where it is mentioned on their website or documents that they do not replace the swollen battery, they had no answer and said that it is not necessary that everything needs to be mentioned in written. I therefore request you to instruct the Micromax company to replace the battery free of cost. Looking forward to your cooperation in the matter urgently Yours sincerely Pankaj Jaggi
