Shopclues Sold Xiaomi Remi Mobile – No Customer Care

Hi,

I can’t the explain the suffering I had to go through after receiving the useless product (xiomi redmi 2) from shopclues.com. Nothing can be more frustrating than to wait for your new phone to get delivered and find that it’s not new at all. I immediately call the service center on may 21 to report that it’s not even starting. I was told that it was ordered from refurbished items which I had no clue about and it might have some scratches. My main concern was it didn’t even switch on. I spoke to manager there and I was told that the phone will be picked up from my address and will be serviced but I wanted a refund and was told to initiate a request. I chose the option ‘ replace’ and requested for a refund explaining the detail on may 21 to which I got a response that I need to find the nearest service center after waiting for 3 days on may 24 for the response. I again replied to which I haven’t received any response. I called again on may 25, 26 spent hours on phone speaking to different people going round in circles. I have never ever had such a bad customer experience. Nobody in the service center neither even acknowledged my issue nor even empathized. I kept on saying that the product was defective and they kept on reading the same script as a robot that it was tested and was in a proper condition and I need to go to the nearest service center makin me feel that I was lying.

Why should I be responsible to repair something that I didn’t use for a single minute? The product was defective, it didn’t even turned on. So, either replace it or refund the money so that I can get a new one. I wish I could upload the recording of the conversation I had with one of the managers in query resolution team of shopclues so that all of us would get the reflection of the incompetent customer service team of shopclues. The person didn’t even listened actively and didn’t even respond.

It has literally been a frustrating experience and is giving me headaches. I can’t imagine that I am literally struggling to get the value of my money. Sorry to say but sites like Shopclues are creating a negative impression on the idea of online shopping altogether. I hope this forum will at least escalate my issue and do justice to me.
