Dear Sir

I request reference to your letter bearing reference No. CONCC/165877/2162/7000XXXXXXXX002 dated 19th Feb 2010 on caption subject.
The gist of case is as under:
I was issued fleet card No. 70000011533400002 for availing diesel for our fleet of tankers.
Due to non receipts of bills, we could not pay the monthly bills generated by you and this fact was brought to your notice vide various letters as well as many telephone calls.
Please refer to your letter dated 13th Feb 2007 agreeing to settle the outstanding amount of Rs. 2626777.03 by accepting Rs. 2400000/- only in full and final settlement in respect of caption account.
Accordingly, we had deposited three cheques totaling Rs. 24 lacs; vide your receipt No. 1575385, 86 &87 dated 13th Feb 2007, which was duly honored by our banker on presentation. And as such there should not be any balance outstanding for the debit of above mentioned account. So we were surprised to receive your letter stating that there exists Rs. 285622.05 to our debit.
Please correlate the one time settlement offered by you and accepted by us.
Please issue us certificate to the effect “full & final receipt” for the said account. Also correct our CIBLI report immediately in terms of RBI notification under advice to us.
