Snapdeal – Order Cancelled Unilaterally

I placed an order on Snapdeal on 10th Dec 2014 for a dress for my daughter. I received an invoice stating that the order will be shipped on or before 15th Dec 2014. However, nothing was done until 16th Dec. When I called, I was told that it has been shipped. But I received a mail on 17th that the order has been cancelled. I contacted customer care on 18th at 3:33 PM and was told that it was cancelled due to non availability of the product. When I checked their site, the same product with same size was infect available at a higher cost.

It was a gift for my daughter whose birthday is on 24th Dec. Even though my money will be refunded, I feel cheated and also have to go to the market to get her something.
