Respected Sir/Madam, I have order a smart phone (Lenovo S660 cost Rs 10779/-) through snapdeal on 30/07/2014 with the order # 2528042335. Snapdeal has communicated me that the product has been handed over to first flight courier through the Airway bill # O99100534xxx and informed me that the product will be delivered on or before 4/8/2014. But on 4th AUgust 2014, they have revised the delivery date to 09/8/2014. When I called up the customer care of snapdeal they have informed me that they were facing issue with the courier partner and assured me that the product will be delivered on or before 09/8/2014. Before discontinuing the call they said my amount is secure with trust pay and need not worry about it. Again on 9th August 2014, they have revised the delivery to 15/8/2014. Even now they say that there is a issue with their courier partner and they are working with the courier partner and again assured that the amount is safe and secure with trust pay and need not worry about it. As per snapdeal trust pay, they mentioned in the website that if the product is not delivered within 10 days they will refund the full amount paid. So when I called my customer care to cancel the order and get the refund they now say that the product has to reach their warehouse then only the amount will be refunded. After going across all these horrific situations, on 13th August 2014, I have decided to cancel the product and get the refund of amount which I have paid to them. So I have called the customer care again, the customer care executive has identified herself as Amrutha. I have explained the entire scenario and request to place an cancellation order on behalf of me. Then she said she will help me out with the request and requested me to refuse the delivery of the product if courier delivers it to me. I said ok to that and then she said the amount will be refunded once the product reaches their warehouse and once refunded it will take 4 to 5 business days. Then I raised a query, if the courier service does not deliver the product at all to me or if they do not return the product to sanpdeal then I will not be receiving my money nor the product. For this she replied saying that the money is covered under trust pay and she said that the refund process will only initiate once the product reaches their warehouse So now I do not have the product I have ordered but my credit card has been charged. Please help in getting either the product or full refund of the amount paid.
I have wasted lot of time and money by calling snapdeal customer care. More than that, I was in a deep depression for the past 1 week about the money I have invested. Please help in getting the product or refund of the amount which I have paid and further any compensation which court decides.
