I purchased new mobile Sony Ericsson Xperia C3, on 9th Nov 14 and found that camera quality is very poor as against the configuration given as 8 mega pixel. I complained in call center. Initially I was asked to update the software threw computer and then asked to go to service center. I submitted mobile to service center on 26th Nov 14 vide job ID W114112604443. but problem not resolved. Again submitted mobile on 3rd Dec vide Job ID W114120300405 and I was told that hardware problem is there and camera and lens needs to be changed. After that i sent mail for complaint against camera problem in newly purchased mobile. But no one attended my mail. I got SMS from service center that mobile is repaired and I collected the handset on 15th Dec 14. Again I found same problem in real camera picture quality and images getting blurred. I checked another handset of same model in front of their engineer and service executives and they admitted the problem in camera. Then I requested for refund, which was refused. I contacted Satyarth Prakash, area manager @9771468685 and I was assured resolution. But after that he didn’t pick my phone calls. Then I escalated to customer care thou mail and also marked copy to Servicehead@ap.sony.com, sonyindia.care@ap.sony.com and local service center. But after so many follow ups, no body reverted. Several times contacted call center @ 180030002800, but not received any resolution. Ever time i call to call center, i had to wait for 40-50 mins to talk to any senior person. till now they are not ready to refund my money. Submitted my handset again on 16th Dec 14 vide job ID 114121601836 and is still lying with them. Kindly help me getting my money (Rs. 19900/-) refunded and also range for compensation against mental harassment. No they as asking me to exchange the phone with higher model, for which again I will have to pay additional amount, which I cannot afford.
I need my money refunded.I don’t want to pay such a huge money for an ordinary quality phone. Additionally, i need compensation again the mental harassment and action against company for selling products which doesn’t meet the specifications announced and mentioned.
