I have purchased sony xperia Z1 mobile phone viz snap deal on 20 oct 2013,covered under accidental warranty.Now when my phone screen is cracked i visited to sony service centre in pune(PC solutions) and submitted all the necessary documents required by the company for replacement and they assured me that all your documents are correct and we will be replacing your piece within 7 days. date of complaint-12/april/2014 Ticket id-14041203530 But after 3 days they called me back and said we cannot replace your piece as it is not from authorized dealer.I mention them that i have submitted original invoice, having all necessary details required for authentic purchase and cover box of the mobile phone then how can you reject that.I raised complaint 3 times and repeatedly they rejected piece by giving verbal explanations When I asked them to give me same reason in writing, ie purchase is from unauthorised dealer,they refused to provide me so. And now whenever I am calling at their customer executive they keep on transferring my calls and put my call on hold for several minutes.And finally they say that we cannot provide you anything in writing why your piece is rejected for replacement. I dont understand why without producing any proof they are rejecting mu handset for replacement till date they have not provided with new piece or any proper explanation for rejection of my complaint. they are not replying my emails.

remove the said defects in the goods and /or, replace the goods with new goods and /or, return the price / charges paid,pay compensation for financial loss/ injury/interest suffered due to your negligence…………………. in the sum of Rs40,000..with interest @18.% per annum In view of the submissions contained in the preceding paragraphs, the complainant most respectfully prays to the Hon’ble Forum to direct the Opposite Parties to : (a) refund the cost of the mobile phone, Rs. along with 18 % interest ; (b) pay a sum of Rs. 15,000/- towards the physical strain and mental agony suffered by the complainant and (c) Bear all the cost of this petition
