This is to bring to your kind notice that I have purchased a Sony LCD TV Model KLV40EX430 of 40″ Serial No. 2186318, Made in Malaysia, this LCD was purchased in April 2013 vide Invoice no. 02902 dated 26.04.2013 from a reputed Electronics vendor : JUMBO Electronics, Deira City Center, Dubai. This LCD was brought from Dubai by me, when I had been there for an official trip and same I brough to India on 27.04.2013 and installed at my home. I am having the Sony Warranty card which is valid in India too and the warranty is for 1 year. It is really surprising that in 4 months my LCD screen went black no picture visible this happened in the first week of Sept 2013. I called the Sony Customer Care no. and they provided the contact of their Authorised Service Agent, SB Electronics, Thane, Maharashtra.
The SB Electronics Engineer visited my home, gave the Job Order no. G31769085 dated 21.09.2013. The engineer took pictures of the LCD screen and xerox copies of all invoices, warranty card and informed that the same will be sent to Sony Head office for approval. On checking with SB Electronics we have been informed that they have informed SONY and the matter is in process, the part has to be imported from Singapore, Malayasia etc. and it will take some time. Many times I have called Sony customer services and I am not at all satisfied with their replies and response. Sony Customer service official informed me to contact Sony Center in Andheri, Mumbai, I even called them and they informed that since it is not brought from their store they cannot help and since the Job Order is open with SB Electronics, Thane only SB Electronics will be able to help me. Now 2 months have passed and I am stranded without a TV at home. I have spent my hard earned money and now SONY is not bothered. I have no idea whom to contact or make our complaint when we call Sony customer service they inform that the Job order is open at SB Electronics so we have to wait and SB Electronics is informing me that when they get any response from Sony, I will be informed. But, no exact time or date is mentioned, I do not understand whether the waiting period will be how long. Please let me know in such a situation what a Customer is supposed to do, whom should we approach this is harrassment without any response. It is my earnest request to look into this matter and arrange to send the part at the earliest or provide me a new SONY LCD of same model. Now my family from 2 months are without a TV at home and I am responsible for buying this LED from Dubai which I only am suffering. If this suffering continues I may have to take some step for which SONY will be responsible. I trust that SONY will not make me take such a step. Request you to look into this matter which is pending since 2 months and causing me mental trauma because neither Sony customer service in India is able to help me.
