Sony TV – Inferior Quality Goods

We purchased new Sony Television Set ( 46 inch LED 3D HX series) from one of the Sony Distributors/dealers(eZone Mani Square , Kolkata) with a huge price tag of around INR 1.5 lac. We exceeded our budget and went ahead with Sony Set because of the high brand recognition and my great affinity towards Sony.We sincerely believed that we purchased a big asset which will not malfunction and create any problem for us in future. We were extremely proud of our decision to associate with Sony. Recently we faced some problem related to blinking of light for 6 times. We lodged a complain to Sony Customer Care(complain no-20783747). Your engineers suggested that there is a problem with the back panel. This was really a shocking news for me.To add salt to injury we found out that we would be charged an exorbitant price(around Rs 30,000)for the replaceable commodity. This is really unacceptable and doe snot suit the brand image and recognition of Sony. Sony should value the customer value and focus towards customer satisfaction matrix. Now tell me that within 4 years of purchasing the good we are facing such a problem then how we are going to use the television set in the long run?..Is Sony company selling inferior quality goods to its customer? In this age of cut throat competition if Sony sell bad quality goods to its customer then due to negative publicity ,Sony will loose its market share to its rivals( e.g Company like Haier gives 4 year warranty on TV, We went for Sony thinking that we do not need warranty as the brand talks everything) Please resolve the case immediately. We request Sony to in fact waive-off or reduce the cost of the replaceable commodity.. Please set a good case/example of customer concentric attitude and highlight goodwill gesture and waive-off the required charges as applicable. Looking forward to your continued support.
