Sony Xperia – Mobile automatically bent under warranty charged

I bought Xperia Z2 in August 2014 from “THE MOBILE STORE, TIRUNELVELI”. The mobile was used with proper care as per handling instructions in the user manual. However the mobile had automatically bent under normal and careful usage conditions. I mailed the issue to the customer service, for which they suggested to take it to service center (Mail Ref-Service Request: 1-17806829254). There was no proper response from service center for around 10 days, after which they replied that the problem cannot be considered under warranty. They did’t say any valid reason for the same. They had provided an estimate cost of Rs. 13600/- for repairing the product. Unless there is an intentional or accidental damage on the phone, they can’t say that the warranty is void. The engineer in service center suggests that it could be a problem because it’s carried in pocket (Not rear pocket). If a mobile can’t be carried in a Pant’s front pocket, and requires intensive care to be handled while carrying, it should be noted clearly along with the usage instructions. But no such instructions were found in the user manual and the mobile is carried only in the Pant front pocket, and not the rear pocket. The purchase cost of the phone is Rs.45,000/- The phone could not even withstand normal usage conditions. Sony hadn’t ensured the quality of product or the services of the product. The estimated cost is too high, and the quality problem found everywhere is not considered under warranty by them. The design of the mobile is water resistant, but which cannot be guaranteed now in this bent condition.
