Sony Xperia – touchscreen of this handset is not working

I bought Sony Xperia Z IMEI No. 355666050876019 on 17th March 2013. I bought the mobile Rs. 38250/- and I used it only for 6 months. Now, the touchscreen of this handset is not working from last 1 month. When I gave the mobile for repairing to Sony Xperia service centre at Vashi, they were not accepting my mobile for 3-4 days even after I was visited there daily. The reason provided to me is that the server in not working. Then I call to customer care and get the Ticket ID i.e. 13110100544 on 1st November 2013. They gave me the address of the service centre situated at Ghatkesar. When I went there they informed that the liquid damage is not covered under warranty and since your phone was not working due to water so its warranty is expired. The phone having USP of water proof/ resistant not having warranty against water is totally a stupid thing. I bought this phone because it is the 1st water proof/ resistant mobile. Even the advertisement shown in TV and the videos available on you tube shows that the mobile is water proof. So it is totally a misrepresentation of the facts that the subject mobile is water proof / resistance. The excuse got from your customer care on mobile and e-mails that the mobile might be put in the water with open nobs. I think no one is so much fool to buy a mobile having cost of Rs. 38,000/- and put the same in the water with open nobs. When the above -mentioned emails were exchanged between us I thought to repair the mobile by paying the money and meanwhile we discuss about the warranty terms. So I went to your service centre at Ghatkopar. They checked my mobile and gave me the assurance that I will get the Job sheet regarding estimated expenses with 2-3 days with the complaint no. W113110701224 on 7th November 2013. They return my mobile to me and told me when you get the estimation then only we take your mobile. Till 28th November 2013 I have not received any estimation from the service centre. I called them 3 times in between and they always gave assurance that you will get the estimation between 1-2 days. On 28th November 2013 I called again to the service centre and they told me that estimation is not provided by the Sony technical team and when I called to the customer care they told me that estimation is given to me by the service centre engineers only. They told me again visited the service centre and call them from there. When I went to service centre on 29th November 2013, the estimated replacement cost provided to me was Rs. 28792/-. When I asked for the hard copy of the estimated expenses they didn’t provide. I am salaried employee; don’t have much time to visit again and again to service centre. The service centre is maintained by the Sony Mobiles and they should educate their employees that whose responsibility is this. Now this is kind of mental harassment for me to bought so much expensive mobile and get such kind of service. This is worst service I have ever seen. Its already more than a month

Either replace my mobile phone or reimburse me the full cost of mobile.
