I bought few items from the Spencer store on 06/03/16 Bill no 60279 total amounting to Rs 967.04 in the bill I was charged Rs 50.00 for catch jal jeera 100 gm at sl no 14 where as the product having batch number 140F01-56 was havin MRP of rs 45.00 this is a clear case of overcharging and cheating. Further the store was displaying an offer of buy 2 get 1 free on catch Masale but initially I was charged for 3 catch products in my bill after complaining the store gave me the price of the 3 product. They were reluctant to give the displayed offer. This is again cheating with the consumers. Further the store displayed the price tag of rs 21per kg for cauliflower but I was charged rs 21 per unit in my bill at sl no 13 on complaining the store people told that they mistakenly displayed the rate on per kg basis.

All this issue resulted in extra time and mental harassment to me. Being a government employee each and every second of a holiday is priceless for me. Further I was exhausted both mentally and physically during the whole shopping apart from getting cheated. Whole evening of a holiday got spoiled and added to my mental exhaustion which will effect my working capabilities for the complete week till I get another holiday. Further being an aspirent of civil crevices exams I lost a whole evening which I would have spent studying.

I want compensation for my mental exhaustion and the spoiling of my precious holiday along with appropriate action on Spencer’s Ltd for charging customers over and above MRP,wrong display of price and reluctance to give the displayed offer. I also want to get indemnified for the lost hours of my study due to time n mental pressure. I want economic compensation.
