Dear Sir I have booked a ticket for my wife Mrs. Khushbu Goenka on 27.06.2014 for Chennai to Guwahati for flight no. SG 321 for the journey date 30.12.2014 with confirmed seat and flight status. On 26.11.2014, I have received a message from Spicejet stating that the flight has been cancelled. On talking to the Spicejet call center, they said that there is no direct option of flights from Chennai To Guwahati. Spicejet informed that only connecting flights with long halts were available. My wife, Mrs. Khushbu Goenka, has conceived has it was not advisable for my wife to travel using long halt flights.

As there was no direct Spicejet flight available from Chennai To Guwahati, I was forced to cancel my spicejet flight and book a new flight of a different airline(Indigo) for 29.11.2014 as there were no cheaper flights available. The Indigo Flight has costed me Rs. 11514/- (Approx). If I would have booked this same Indigo Flight during the same time i.e. on 27.06.2014 it would have costed me Rs.4000/-. This has resulted in my loss of Rs. 7514/-.
