Spicejet flight – No information on flight cancellation

Respected Sir/Mam, I am writing this to bring to your kind attention that I had to travel from Bangalore to Jaipur on 16th December`2014 due to sudden demise of my mother, so I had booked Spicejet flight leaving from Bangalore to Delhi at 19:55. I have below grievances and I would like you to please take some action about it. 1. Not only there was no information about the flight cancellation , either by SMS or call , I got to know this only after reaching the airport. As I had to suddenly rush to my home , I had booked the next available flight i.e. Spicejet`s and I had to pay more than double of normal taxi fare just to reach the airport so that I can catch this flight which was cancelled , but again no information was given. 2. I had to tell the executive present there repeatedly about my reason for this travel and no attention was given to it (So please let me know if we cant help a person when there is a death in their family , then what situation is more demanding ). I do understand that they nowhere promise to be considerate in these matters , but is asking for some courtesy at such a time also not acceptable. I wish to say this in complete honesty that I was deeply hurt by the attitude of executives. 3. I was there told by the learned executives there that I will get my refund within 7 days, I got the Refund on 17th January, which is more than a month.

I have followed the complaint system given on their website and have received no reply.I am attaching in a word file , the mails send by me to them.An apology from Spicejet and a nominal compensation. Please help me with the same.
