StanChart Credit Card – Balance Transfer Process – Review

My standard chartered bank credit card main a/c no. is 4196074XXXX44247. I took Balance Transfer of 2 Cheques on dated 16.12.2011 as:- 1) merchandise card no. 4940 7680 XXXX 5109 Rs.21000/- for HDFC Bank Credit Card = OK (USED) 2) merchandise card no. 4940 7680 XXXX 5091 Rs.13000/- for SBI Credit Card = MISPLACED (UN-USED) = COMPLAINT ABOUT on dated. I did/doing Telephonic complaint, Email complaint, SMS Service Complaint done since long and Submitted Indemnity Bond. I had sent registered post the Indemnity Bond [Notary Signed] as desired by the bank on 09.08.2013 (in original) against the Miscplaced Draft of Rs.13000/- Draft No. 560572 isused in favour of DEEPAK GAMBHIR c/o SBI CREDIT CARD No.43175756XXXX0446. Sir you can very well CROSS CHECK MY SBI CREDIT CARD A/C, My BANK A/C(s) or please also verify Standard Chartered Bank A/c as well, that whether I have used the draft for my a/c or not. Against this above stated misplaced draft without use I had unnecessarily paid the Processing Fee, Interest, Part Principal, Late Fee (if any) considering to get the reversal after proper verification but the Bank has partly reversed me. So I request you to kindly do take the necessary action regarding the complete reversal with immediate effect. I had paid the bank a total of Rs.39126.20 against the balance transfer used cheque of Rs.21000/- and for the same a/c bank has to charge me processing fees+s.tax on processing fees+interest for one used Balance transfer case of Rs.21000/- whereas bank has charged me approx Rs.9000/- extra against this case. This is all unjustified. The Standard chartered bank has physical office to interact personally regarding this case. They wrong charged me in a/c and miscalculate the interest part and grab my hard earned money to their a/c. The bank charged to the unpaid customer @3.45% p.m. whereas my partly refunded money is still lying in this a/c since long without interest.

Harassment by telecaller Long Lasting relation spoil. Miscalculation No Physical office to cater this issue. On telephonic a facility given but on phone no complaint taken. senior level officer didn’t respond to the email complaint for which they are assigned to. Interest charged to the customer unpaid but what about if customer’s money lying to their a/c?

My money refund for approx 9000/-. If possible with interest since long. Harassment charges = Standard Chartered Bank Telecallers harassed me for non-payment whereas I had to take refund from the bank. When they offer a facility/product on phone after verification etc. so they should also take complaint on phone as well. they should assign an officer for query resolution whereas they only depute officer for money collection.
