Standard Charted Bank,Asking for Annual Charges for a Lifetime Free Card

When the Standard Chartered Bank executive visited us last year in our office, he has specifically told us that their card is ‘Lifetime Free”. On that basis we have applied for this card last year. But now the Bank has arbitrarely levied ‘Annual Charges’, and harassing us to pay through Emails as well as Mobile SMSs, since statement dated 18/06/2013.

Uneccessary harassment and hostility, when I have not used their card, since last 9 months. Since there is no transaction since last 3 months(April, May, June) and six months preceding them, The Bank cannot justify its claim. Its ‘severe deficiency in service’ on their part.

I wish to get the charges reversed and my card cancelled, as there is no transaction on it since last 9 months. And the Bank should be severely reprimanded for its “Severe Deficiency in Service”.
