Hello:

I used to pay my electricity bill generally at a local TNEB office counter. But recently, I found that I could pay through net banking. I have an SBI account. So, when I tried to pay the bill, I found that SBI is charging extra
fees, while none of the other banks had any charges for paying through their account. See the attached picture.

What is it so special about SBI? Why are they indulging in such trick ways to rob people of their hard-earned money? I am thinking of switching my account to one of these other banks.

Can someone take steps to stop this usurious practice by SBI?
