TNEB has charged Rs 1899/- which is 24 times more than that of our normal current consumption charges, for our Service Connection number 540029512 instead of regular charges of Rs 81/- to Rs 100/- (which we used to get usually ) during the month Mar 2015 for an unoccupied house (we are not staying in our above house and not using current for the last 12 months), when we called in their LAN line number 04565-256295,they refused to register the call and asked us to visit in person , and we received the reply as “we have inspected the meter and it is working fine” for the complaint registered by us in their web site with out doing any inspection , kindly ask them to reduce the charges to normal charges , also advise them to change the faulty meter.
