tastykhana.com – However the food never came websites stopped working

I ordered through tastykhana.com on saturday 27th July 2013 and paid online . However , the food never came . Their websites stopped working , the call centres stopped taking calls. One day later on Sunday , received an apology mail from their CEO Shachin Bhardwaj , saying that due to some traffic problem on the site , the system crashed and they couldn,t service the order . He assured that a refund would be arranged , and gave a voucher to redeem by 30th July . I tried ordering again today and paid online for some food but again no food came and they informed me on chat that the restaurant has shut down. Please refer to the chat below . These are pathetic services and I think something needs to be done regarding this . Their email also communicates that the refund would be processed from 3 – 15 working days. me: i have placed my order again. I hope i shall get it order number is MQPGFD30L Ananya: ok i am checking it me: i had a horrible experience on saturday. i hope you are aware Ananya: ya that was due to system failure….the server was running low due to heavy traffic me: will i get my food today??? i have already paid online Ananya: just hold on… me: oh my god ! not another complication I hope Ananya: your order is in processed me: what does that mean miss? Will I get it? Ananya: it means that our executives are placing your order in the restaurant me: ok. That means I shall get it. Right? Ananya: ya..we will call you as the order is placed me: trust me if their is a mess up this time , it’ll be really bad Ananya: we will make sure that you receive your food on time me: oh ! That’ll be great . Your reputation went for a toss because of tk12….. havent yet received any confirmation mail …or phone call whats this ? i received a payment refund mail Ananya: i am checking it me: I’ll take this up with the consumer court if this happens This is really pathetic Ananya: mam actually the restaurant you have ordered from has been closed…and so the order was cancelled..your payment was refunded and also the coupon was reverted…you can use the coupon again we are really sorry for the inconvenience….!!

They should refund the money first and then compensate for the harassment caused . We had to go hungry because of their nonchalance.
