Tata Indicom – faced a lot of issues with network speed

I used a Tata Photon connection for close to 30 months and faced a lot of issues with network speed. The company had promised a download speed of 3.1 Mbps, with a minimum speed of 256 Kbps. However post getting connection I faced issue with network speed and filed a complaint with the company within 1 month of getting the connection. I filed various complaints with the company and every time I was promised good network speed, which was never provided. Finally I filed another complaint earlier this year and an engineer visited my home. During his visit company engineer found that speed was less then 200Kbps. He had forwarded the issue to Tata network team from whom I received a reply that since the company does not have a passive antenna installed, this would be the max speed that I would get. I refused to accept this resolution and followed up with customer care and appellate authority without any result. So many people have called up, discussed the issue and promised to escalate but I haven’t received any resolution. Finally I stopped using photon services and gave to company in writing through email that I would not pay any bill till my issue is resolved. Without resolving the issue, company disconnected the connection due to non payment of bill. I have now started receiving threatening calls from company about legal notices from persons posing to be calling from Delhi court. I have in my possession all my email communications I had with Tata. Some of the complaint nos opened on my no are – 303067381,361712357, 357712219,366620253

1. All outstanding amounts to be dropped. 2. Refund of entire bill amount paid, as company has admitted to ‘deficiency of services’.
