Subscriber ID: 1014189094. I am customer of Tata Sky for more than 5 years. The set-up box stopped working and has requested the service provider to resolve it.They said the setup box is damaged and need to replaced with a new one which will cost 1000/-.I have reminded them that the same is replaced once few years back.They acknowledged and said it need to be replaced again. I was not happy with this reply.More over quite a few number of malayalam channel while I took the connection was not available for the last years.Hence i decided to stop the subscription and claimed for he refund of balance money in the account Rs 1,639/-.I respective of sending email communication and reminders I failed in solving my grievance.I have called the customer services many time but instead of trying to find a solution, excuses and accusations were returned.They also said they are helpless and as per policy no money could be refunded to customer.On phone they informed that my account can be hold live for 90 days and will get suspended permanently if I don’t renew
I hope, I have given enough time to settle my grievance by asking for refund of full amount and with this email I am demanding a refund of full amount with interest @ 12% p.a and with a compensation of Rs 1,00,000/- , else I will file a complaint with the consumer forum under the consumer protection Act of 1986 seeking an additional compensation for the mental agony caused due to you deficiency in services.
