I have been a Tata Sky consumer since approx. past 7 years. I have a annual subscription of Tata Sky DTH service (no.1003363031)which is valid till 13th July 2014 and I had paid around Rs.6000 for the same. I was previously residing at No.B-51, Orchid Woods, Corporate Road, Prahladnagar, Ahmedabad and this society had Tata Sky service. I have since couple of days ago moved to new residence at No.C-303, Gala Aria, Gala Gymkhana Road, South Bopal, Ahmedabad. The new society has Airtel DTH service. I wanted to terminate Tata Sky service wef 15th March and get the refund for balance 4 months of unused subsription amounting to approx. Rs.2500.00. However I was told by Tata Sky executive (via web chat) that the termination before the due date was not possible. I think this is unfair on any service provider to charge for the service which the consumer doesnt want to avail.
