For hundreds of employees over the last 2 to 3 years IOL Netcom (the IPTV service provider which tied up with MTNL) has religiously deducted the Income Tax component (as per IT rules) from the salaries of various employees BUT HAS NOT DEPOSITED IT WITH IT Dept !!!!

Salary slips which were given earlier to all employees have also been withheld for last 18 months !

WHAT IS THE MECHANISM OF REDRESSAL ?!! If the IT Dept has been intelligent and religious enough to force it down Employees as well as various Employer’s Throat , Can it also put in or enforce some norms to ensure this is deducted AND also paid to the IT Dept ?!!
