Tikona Broadband Internet – QoS Review

I have been using Tikona Broadband service since 2011 but am very disappointed about the quality of their service her in Bangalore. Almost every month I would face issues with the service regarding the connectivity and speed of the Internet connection that they are providing. The technical complaints that I am still registering with them takes around 10-15 days to get resolved. Hence, for most of the days in a month I do not get proper connectivity and even if I get it, the speed remains horrible. When I call them about the issues, each day they would give new reasons and would say that issue would be resolved within 24-48 hrs but that never happens. I pay the bills to them on time regularly but even then they do not care to solve my issues. If i ask them for an waiver of my bill for the number of days I could not use the service properly, they would say that I am not eligible for the same. Even at present, I gave a complaint on 25th Feb, 2015 and till date (2nd March, 2015), it is yet to be resolved. I had to go through this harassment for 5 years now and is frustrated with the company. I even asked them to discontinue the service around Oct-Nov, 2014 but their retention team requested me not to do that and assured of proper service thereafter but that is yet to be translated into reality. At the end of the day, I am paying what the company asked for but am not getting the service that they promised. There is a long list of complaints available with them that I have registered till that but they are least bothered about the same. Please help me in this request. I would also like to add that sometimes the so-called customer care executives behave very rudely on call and I had the worst personal experience with one of them (Mr Hitesh Paul) a few days back when I was insulated on call. if we complain about the same, they show their arrogance and never care about the same. I also reported the same issue to the supervisor as well as the Manager but I am sure no action would have been taken.

As I said before, I am paying the amount of money that the company charges for the service each month on time but I am not getting the service that I am promised. On top of that, each time I have to call them and explain the same issue again and again. In the process, if I try to connect to their toll free number, I am kept on hold for a long time, thus wasting my time. If I call their tolled number, I am obviously losing money on my phone too. So, Its a lose-lose for me. Also, the mental agony and harassment that I go through is an additional headache.

I want proper service from them and do not wish to pay for the same for the number of days when I am not getting it as per their promise(as per my BILL PLan). Also, I wish I get an adequate compensation for the harassment and mental torture that I had to go through till date.
